A
warm welcome awaits you at the Tollesbury Cruising Club situated in
the heart of one of the friendliest marinas on the East Coast - Tollesbury
Yacht Harbour.
Equipped with a fully licensed bar and restaurant it is always a lively
spot during the season.
Tollesbury Cruising Club was founded in 1970 by the Goldie and Waterhouse
families, the builders of the Marina and by several local yachtsmen.
A new clubhouse was opened by Sir Alec Rose in December 1971.

are available whenever the club is open. More details are on our

Visiting Yachtsmen are always welcome; come on in for a drink and of
course we are always keen to welcome new members!
Tollesbury
Cruising Club is a proprietary club with Julian Goldie as the President,
Louise Goldie the Secretary and a Committee heavily involved in the
racing and cruising activities.
We welcome members with children and encourage family activities within
the club.
The
Club welcomes Social Members and is very much geared towards the family,
with many social events planned during the year. Please contact the

The club is available for private functions, and wedding receptions,
please contact the Secretary for further
information.
The
Club runs a number of special races, but is mainly a Cruising Club and
the Club's Burgee has carried all over Europe from the Baltic to the
Mediterranean, to the West Indies, South and North America and to the
Pacific.
The club is an approved RYA shore based training centre and runs a wide
range of training courses.
We look forward to meeting you and to welcoming
you, to what we sincerely believe, is one of the very best yacht clubs
on the East Coast.
