Web Site Policies
Pop-Up Blockers
In some situations where you have especially rigorous pop-up blocking you may find that you need to allow pop-up's to permit all the site menu items to operate correctly, for example the Forum opens in a new window, which some browsers will recognise as a 'pop-up'.
Use of "Cookies"
Cookies are small software files that are loaded automatically by
many web sites into your PC when web pages are accessed. On the Tollesbury
Cruising Club site no use is made of cookies, other than in the Discussion
Forum, where your login details may be stored.
We do not collect any information using cookies and do not track your
usage of the Internet. External sites, e.g. those accessed when you
follow web links, may use cookies to track your usage, for example vendors
often use cookies to track orders, and to allow them to send you "targeted"
sales promotion material by email. Cookies can be disabled or monitored
on most web browsers, however this will normally limit your ability

There are a number of well known sites that provide specialist usage
tracking services, and it may be considered worthwhile specifically
