Starfire will be attempting the extreme crossing and fun race if there is one this year. I might be crewless (yes crewless) although I've yet to check but I suspect she'll be in sunnier climes.

Re: Christmas Cruise 23/24 November
Dear All
Brief details of the weekend below
1. The traditional Christmas Pudding race will be run (depending on the weather) probably from the Nass up to Thirslet Spit Bouy and with a finish at the Bradwell Beacon - full details will be posted on the Forum nearer the time. This is traditionally a 'white sails only' race - ie no spinnakers...
2. As the depth in Bradwell Creek gets shallow after about high tide, we will try to start the race as soon after 9am as possible so all boats should be in Bradwell Marina by 12 noon
3. A pontoon party will be held at about 1pm, giving crews time to decorate both themselves and their boats with suitable festive hats and lights (as appropriate). It would be good if each boat can bring some hot food/snacks to the party, as there will be no seafood this year - though obviously anyone who wants to can bring some to share.
4. Prizes of Xmas puddings will be awarded to the Race winners, for the best dressed boat and the best Xmas hat
5. The Green Man has been booked for 7.30, so please can everyone intending to come let me know by Wednesday 20th how many people are coming..
AND THIS YEAR
The Green Man have offered to provide us with a Roast Turkey Christmas Dinner option on the menu if anyone wants this - but they would like to know ASAP roughly how many people are interested - so please indicate if you are interested in this Dinner option...
Wave Dancer will be attending with 2 on board (unless the weather forecast is warm and sunny...)
Tony

Hi.
Yelena and myself will be attending, awaiting confirmation from Ian if he wants to come along as well.
Natsumi length 11.3m Beam (allow) 4.0m as Bradwell always try's to fit us in a too narrow berth
Certainly sounds like the Turkey option at the Green Man would suit us!
Many Thanks
David
