Sailing in Company 2020

Post by challenge2 » May 18th, 2020, 6:39 pm

As we are slowly getting back to be able to think about getting on the water over the next few weeks it would be the responsible action for skippers to go day sailing with at least one other boat in company

This would prevent a ‘situation’ becoming a problem and perhaps avoid a call on Coastguard or RNLI assets

If you have plans and would like to share these with other members, please post on this thread

Hi Bob. I agree, it would be best to sail in company until things get back to normal so count us in.
Until we can officially spend the night on board we are looking to go out on a morning/evening tide. Next usable tides are from 29th.May (silly o'clock start) until 1st. June. Destinations depending on wind but Pyefleet, Osea Island, or Clacton Pier and back. We will keep in touch nearer the time.
Regards
Rob.
