About the Club
Tollesbury Cruising Club was founded in 1970 by the Goldie and Waterhouse families, the builders of the Marina and by several local yachtsmen.
The current club house was opened by Sir Alec Rose in December 1971. It is now the home of The Harbour View Bistro & Bar, and offers a fine dining experience. It is always a lively spot during the season. Club members get a 10% discount on all food.
Visiting Yachtsmen are always welcome and of course we are always keen to welcome new members!
The Harbour View Bistro & Bar is available for private functions, and wedding receptions; please contact the manager for further information.
Click on the link panel (right) to go to the restaurant web site, where you will find details of opening hours and menus etc.
Call 01621 869561 to make a table reservation, which is always advisable to avoid disapointment.
Tollesbury Cruising Club is a proprietary club with Julian Goldie as the President, Louise Goldie the Secretary and a Committee heavily involved in the racing and cruising activities.
We welcome members with children and encourage family activities.
The Club runs a number of yacht races each season, but is mainly a Cruising Club and the Club's Burgee has been carried all over Europe from the Baltic to the Mediterranean, to the West Indies, South and North America and to the Pacific.
The marina has a free WiFi service with good coverage in the clubhouse and in all parts of the marina basin. Access details are available from the marina office.
We look forward to meeting you and to welcoming you, to what we sincerely believe, is one of the very best yacht clubs on the East Coast.
